Bobbi Sloan Photography My Photography Story…………..and why I love it so much from Bobbi Sloan Photography on Vimeo.
I am a mother, a sister, a daughter and a friend and previous to photography, I used to be a Financial Planner with a big bank. I absolutley love that I do what I do, I love Babies and Children and I feel so incredibly lucky to get to be apart of your special moments. I have an incredible family and amazing friends that I am thankful for everyday (I love you all!). My beautiful daughter Ava, you made me feel whole when you arrived, your beauty, generosity and curiousity to learn keeps a smile on my face and in my heart every single day. Your heart is as big as they come and that smile on your gorgeous face makes your eyes sparkle! Kale, my sweet baby bear, you are the sweetest most gentle little man on earth and you make me giggle constantly, and last but not least, the happiest, smiliest little guy on earth, my Handsome little Grady. You all have filled my heart so full of love and I love your craziness and laughter.
I don’t remember when I started carrying a camera around with me, but it was every where I went. I was very young. When I became pregnant with my first child, I quickly decided it was time to upgrade my old camera to a “good” one. It was having my daughter that made me realize my passion in capturing those special moments of pregnancy, newborns, motherhood and children! And once my son arrived, it gave me a little comfort to kinda know what I was doing, and then my third, I still only kinda know what I am doing as far as parenting!
Your babies SAFETY is number 1. I am an experienced and accredited newborn professional photographer and have trained hard to ensure your baby is safe at all times. Unfortunately, some poses will not always be available during your session if I feel it is not safe to do so. (For example: hanging a baby in a sling requires the baby to be in a deep sleep). Some poses are only created through editing and there is ALWAYS someone holding the baby during “hanging”, “potato sack”, or “hands under chin” poses, these are done as composites and the hands are removed in Photoshop.
I hope you enjoy your photos as much as I enjoy taking them! Thank you for choosing Bobbi Sloan Photography!
(Thank you to the very talented Milk and Honey Photography for taking the pic above of me and my camera!)
