 Looking to learn how to take adorable photos of your kids? Have a DSLR Camera (that you strictly purchased to take photos of your children) that you keep on Auto because you just don’t know where to start? I have heard this same thing from sooooo many people. I have been there and I didn’t like it. I was overwhelmed with “technical words” and none of it made sense to me. I read my manual over and over and so many times I just wished I had someone to ask for help. WELL I WANT TO HELP!
I am by no means a “Camera Techie” (if you are and you want to know all the technical stuff on your camera this is NOT the class for you, but I do have a wonderful photographer friend that DOES!). This class will be a hands on class where we go outside together and I will give you the tips I use to photograph children of all ages, including posing, tricks on getting “natural” smiles and learning some basic composition on how to make those photos pop! We will go over camera settings and you are welcome to bring additional lenses if you have them. I will tell you what I do in my sessions! And you can ask me all the questions you want!
This class is $125 per person and it will be a 2 hour class on Saturday April 2 OR Sunday April 3. I have a morning class 10am-12pm and a second afternoon class from 2pm-4pm both days, that way there is a couple options if the other time doesn’t work. A $50 deposit is required to hold your space (email transfer) and I will only take no more than 8 per class. There will be a technical section, where you can take notes), a shooting period and then time for one on one and questions and feedback near the end as well as a take home to help you keep practising at home. You need to BRING your manual with you (even if it’s on your cell phone and was downloaded online).

Wow, where does the time go? I have had the honor to photograph this little guy since he was still in his mommies tummy! I love watching these little babies grow, but it happens way too fast! He still looks like he did as a newborn, just a little more grown up :O) Thanks so much for coming to hang out in my new Penticton studio with me! He is such an adorable little guy! I am still giggling at how easy this family was to photograph. I actually laughed out loud when I started to edit the photo of baby on her daddys shoulders, because their dog was actually jumping (like straight up, over and over) right behind me, it was hilarious and she was laughing so hard….. Baby T, you have grown so much! It seems like just last week she was still in her mommy’s tummy while we did her maternity session! Thanks for coming down to see me and as always, it was great to see you and catch up again, you have such a beautiful family!

I had lots of fun photographing this beautiful family! I can not believe how fast this little sweetie has grown! She is such a cutie pie!
