I can’t stop laughing at these……the entire time I spent shooting this smash, as well as the time spent editing these, I was giggling. This kid rocked this cake smash! Not only did she love the cake (Thank you Layer by Layer cakes! I don’t know how you made this one so perfect, and the colors must have been really tough????, but it turned out exactly as requested!), but she loved the camera, smiled every single adorable facial expression I could have asked for. And then she just kept eating! And smiling! And laughing! And then she picks up the cupcake and EATS more! and laughs more. and destroys that cupcake more! and then laughs more and looks right at me with this hilarious grin, eats more, then throws her head back laughing hysterically……oh my…..Seriously the funniest thing I have watched while behind my camera.
Thank you mom and dad for bringing her in to the studio for this. This one will be remembered for many many years! I had a blast watching her.

This gorgeous Mommy to be braved the cold and agreed to let me shoot this maternity session in the snow (we had to go for a little drive!). It was super fun and I haven’t laughed so hard in a session. Not only did we almost have the police stop in (yes while she was wearing a VERY see-through gown! lol), which may or may not have been people she worked with on a regular basis, but we also had a school bus load of kids drive by just a little while later :O) (I have photos of that too).
Oh I am so glad she was such a trooper!
And PS Mommy, you look absolutely gorgeous when your pregnant!

I have been photographing this little cutie since birth and it is just amazing to look back at her newborn photos to see how much she’s changed in just one short year! (and to see how she still looks the same!). She came to visit the studio on her actual birthday so it was super fun to get to celebrate her birthday with her! Well this handsome little guy just melted my heart! I had a great time visiting with mom and dad while doing this little ones newborn session when he came to the studio. At 8 weeks old, babies don’t sleep like newborns under 2 weeks old do, but this little guy slept pretty hard once he fell asleep! He even let me pose him like a newborn (a really big newborn! lol). I love his eyes wide awake photos, you can just see his adorable personality shine through!
I’m not sure why, but I am certain I was meant to photograph this sweet baby boy.

I am so happy we did these photos! It was so nice to see Mommy again and catch up when they came to the studio for his newborn photos. This handsome little guy is 8 weeks old and had the biggest little eyes! He was so alert and so observant, he would watch follow me with his eyes! And the ADORABLE expressions he made, my goodness! He was a little rock star though, and I ended up taking a ton of photos of him! (he kinda stole my heart in just a couple hours, mom and dad you better watch out for this little guy, he’s gonna be a charmer!).
